CRAIG POWERS LISTS HIS FAVORITES:
Favorite Radio Memories:

Hangin with Rick Dees as a 20-year-old DJ at KIIS-FM. Rick taught me how to do appearances, remotes and how to be a better Joc. He took me to CBS to see him do his voiceover work for the Network! He was a mentor and friend!

Learning music research in 1978 from Jeff Salgo (Brilliant researcher).

Going to Mike Wagners (KIIS FM PD) broadcast school. Teachers were Paul Freeman (Middays on KIIS FM) and Val Valentine (Nites on KIIS FM)

Working for Mike Curb (Curb Records)and helping to get LeAnn Rimes started in the business.

Country Music! WoW, it saved my life while going through a terrible divorce! There's nothing better than Country music for healing!

Playing golf with Garth Brooks, Sammy Kershaw, Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and more!
