We bought a home on the Olympic Peninsula to stay close to our daughter's beautiful family and two grandkids. I am still dabbling in broadcast, doing a few low-dough radio jobs, including programming KDUN-AM in Reedsport, OR for Delilah. Yes, that Delilah, the wildly popular syndicated love songs host. It's the station where she began her radio journey. When I heard she was buying the station I raised my hand to help. Now I'm committed and enjoying the ride. Also doing some programming and hosting for stations in Texas and volunteering as a technical advisor to Port Townsend's community station, KPTZ... Thank you, radio, for a great career. Well-timed!"

In the main, my time since 2000 has been spent being invisible as a voice-over on many TV commercials and narations and I've just started doing a few audio books; I have produced mainly documentaries for both radio and TV, some of which have been music based as well as many travel and art programmes for international programmers. I like the idea of going back to radio again for a part-time show somewhere, but Devon isn't exactly peppered with alternatives that would suit my style and gage." Click for more from Alan.
