In his last communication with 440 (Mar 2005), Allan said, "My most memorable stations would include WTRX in Flint, MI where I worked for Jack Hood and Bob Kitley serving as Nick Arama's (later of WOMC-FM fame) PM News Anchor; WABX-FM in Detroit; KVMT-FM in Vail; and WCKG-FM in Chicago for GM Marc Morgan & PDs Tim Sabean & Dan Michaels; also being the voice on numerous Oldsmobile Cutlass spots for then Leo Burnett producer, Vince Austin, during the late-1970s model years."
