WKTU, New York
JWNote (from www.musicradio77.com):
WKTU 103.5FM - Originally licensed in
Babylon as the other WGLI-FM. The
license moved to Lake Success
(studios to Utopia Pkwy and LIE) in
the 1970s and became WTFM with the
famous tower site on the LIE. To the
Chrysler Building and the World Trade
Center ... became WAPP, then WQHT.
Swapped formats and calls with WYNY
97.1 in 1987. Now the New KTU... still
licensed to Lake Success, a Long
Island address.
